Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Supervision

So… you’re ready to take on the therapy world?

You’ve done the classes and papers and the exam, and now you’re about to take that next step in your career.

And it’s honestly a mixed bag of emotions, right? Maybe some stress, some excitement, definitely some overwhelm, and throw some uncertainty in there, too.

I get it. This next step in becoming a therapist is full of paperwork and forms and hours, and spreadsheets.

But we want this to be more than just another box to check.

Shouldn’t those 3,000 hours be supportive, helpful, and transformative?

The Sparrows Collective is a space for new and upcoming therapists to begin their journeys in the counseling field. This is a sacred space for you to find yourself and your voice!

This space is not just a weekly meeting for you to clock in and out of it – we value the time as a way to develop more fully as people, not just therapists.

You are asked hard questions and given the permission and space, to be honest about your experiences as a new therapist.

You are given lots of grace as you figure out how you want to live into this new role.

You are supported to try new things and ask any question you can think of – and are celebrated all along the way.

We have several options for supervision…

You can work with an outside agency and meet with Candace McArthur for supervision in groups or individually.

Maybe it’s a combination of group supervision, where you meet with other LMSWs, just like yourself, alongside Candace McArthur for more collaborative space. Then other times, you would get one-on-one supervision scheduled at a separate time.

You might be able to join our badass collective of therapists and see clients through The Sparrows Collective on a part-time basis.

We are always looking for therapists to join our team, but we like to ensure it’s the right fit. So if this is something you’re interested in, contact us.

Or you can bring us your own great idea for how to get your hours. We would love to talk more about it!

Make supervision more than just another thing you have to do.

This can be something you GET to do and look back on with gratitude and pride. Despite how overwhelming and stressful it all can be, you can be supported and cared for throughout your supervision process.
