Providing therapy and coaching services remotely…

We want everyone to have access to quality care.

We know that taking time out of your busy week might not be possible – you have classes, you have kids, you have a job, or that commute. So online therapy takes away much of the burden and hassle of rearranging your whole life for just one hour a week.

Online sessions are conducted through a video platform called doxy.me. All you have to do is access the website through a link we will send you, and you’re good to go! Currently, we can provide online therapy services for anyone in the state of Texas and coaching/consulting services for anyone located outside of Texas.

But is it as effective as in-person therapy?

Absolutely it is.

Good therapy is just two people meeting together in a confidential, safe, and nonjudgmental space, no matter the setting. We can do that online. Some people actually prefer online sessions because they allow more flexibility with when and where we meet.

We don’t want this to feel like another Zoom meeting…

… because we all know how tired we are of those!

No… we want to make sure we’re using telehealth to its fullest potential.

There’s no need to sit behind a computer screen in some random chair in your room.

Where would you LIKE to meet that week?

Maybe we go for a hike together…

Or we sit in a certain space in your home that is comforting and calming…

Or maybe the idea of sitting in your kids’ room while we work through something might be really helpful.

OR… perhaps you have an hour between classes, and sitting in your car is the only option. If that’s the case… no worries… we’ve got you covered!

Let’s talk about convenience…

Y’all, we get it. Life is a lot, and starting your therapy journey is not an easy decision. So honestly, doing online therapy can be a way to make this a bit easier.

No traffic, no arranging babysitters, or rearranging schedules. You can just show up, in your yoga pants, from the comfort of your home or favorite place and jump right in. Many clients can make therapy work because they use their lunch breaks once a week or in the early morning before starting their workday.

Making the most of our online sessions…

To have the best experience with online sessions, we recommend having access to a laptop or computer (you can do sessions from your phone, but it’s not ideal).

We also recommend thinking about where you want to be for your session – maybe it’s outside somewhere or in the comfiest spot in your home. I also recommend having headphones to increase your sense of confidentiality.
